Senior Sales Representative (Belle Glade, FL)
DUTIES: Maintain and update current and new customer accounts. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams along with the executive team to develop, on a continuous basis, business opportunities to increase the company’s profitability and customer base. Maintain regular contact with existing and potential new customers to determine how the company’s specific products can meet their needs and better their customer experience. Responsible for maintaining working knowledge of market trends and vegetable growing conditions. Keep constant communication with customers about our products, prices and availability. Negotiate and close contracts with customers. Attend trade shows and summits to provide samples and packaging options in promotion of our products to potential customers. Responsible for order processing, pricing, mediating shipping arrival issues and coordinating transportation needs for customers. Coordinate between growers and warehouse to monitor quality and organize inventory to maximize warehouse utilization. Optimize, sustain and update our sales strategies by analyzing customer specifics and available sales data. Maintain our company’s high level of quality, accuracy and process consistency in the sales department.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s in Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Production or Agribusiness and 24 months experience in produce sales.
HOURS: 9:00 A.M. – 5:30 P.M. – 40 hours per week
